GILES DEACON has teamed up with the English National Ballet to create a tutu to be worn by prima ballerina Elena Glurdjidze in its version of Black Swan, held at the London Coliseum in March.

"The tutu was designed by Giles Deacon to celebrate English National Ballet's 60th anniversary, and we're delighted that we are able to use the tutu for a performance," a spokesperson from the English National Ballet tells us. "We never imaged that there would be such a buzz around Black Swan this year and how fantastic that we are able to showcase this exciting and famous dance, in such an exquisite and beautiful costume."
