19 MAY 2021 ~ There is a little Mom & Pop Flower Shoppe tucked away on a side street. It's been there since the mid 50's & developers have tried to buy the property, as well as large Floral Companies wanting to take it over. As immigrants fleeing a war torn country they came to America after WII looking for the "Dream" . Pop had a green thumb & became a Horticulturist & Mom was an awesome cook. This is a railroad town, so people would get off the train looking for a decent meal. They found a homey cafe with great food & fresh flowers on every table. Cafe is gone, but the Flower Shoppe lives on !!
