Pumpkin Spice become a staple spice for the fall season in the US. Every September we start seeing pops of this flavor in drinks, baked goods and even ice cream! Although the spice has only become increasingly popular in the last decade, it has been around for over 3,500 years!

I love this time of year for obvious reasons: cozy flannels, pumpkin carving contests, apple picking and most importantly, pumpkin spice lattes.

Now is the perfect time to skip the long lines at your local coffee shop and get into the fall spirit by making your very own PSL at home! Try out this super easy recipe that you can make in under 10 minutes!

Pumpkin Spice Latte:

Servings: 1 drink

Ingredients:
1 cup Fair Oaks Farms milk
2 tbsp pure pumpkin puree
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup hot espresso or strong-brewed coffee
sweetened whipped cream

Instructions:
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, mix the milk, pure pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Place plastic over the bowl and vent with small holes.

Microwave milk until hot (1 to 2 minutes). Whisk until the milk mixture is foamy.

Pour hot espresso or strong-brewed coffee into a mug.

Add foamed milk. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle extra pumpkin pie spice.
