An acre is a lot to take care of !! I Love the idea of Spring and the flowers in a garden, but, I am not a gardener !! Unlike my Grandma I do not have a green thumb !! Her garden was gorgeous !! Retiring to Florida would be too hard for me !
Don't like the Humidity, bugs and the Hurricanes !! Calif can be nice, but, it depends on where you live !! I have lived in NoCal all my life and every Summer I ask myself why ??? Sacramento is so Hot and I am not a Summer person !! So there are 2 seasons I definitely stay inside !! Have family that lived in Illinois and are now back in Calif. Winters too brutal for them !!

HA! Kate O Same here! I put on leggings or yoga pants though... and after a couple hours or so of Netflix, Pinterest or a book, I'll look at my lazy cats & dog & decide **they need exercise so we'll go out for a walk for a few mins & then back inside for another couple hours!
Winter is bad for me. Spring is when I'm at my best ~ out working in the yard (an acre, so a lot to be done after lazy winters). I love to be outside & long for sun! I definitely need to get out of Illinois (for winter, anyway) and lately I've been thinking of retiring to Florida or California. Somewhere warm & sunny most of the year!
We make quite the pair !! I could stay in my PJ's all day, but I would feel guilty. So I throw on old jeans and a sweatshirt !! Happy Lazy start to 2019 !!
